    Job Description
    Description: Responsible for assisting the Parking Supervisor oversee municipal parking operations, facilities and programs.  Provides administrative and technical support to enhance parking operations. Assist in the development of long range plans and strategies for the parking in the municipality. Supervises daily operations including, but not limited to: all public parking employees (i.e. parking enforcement officers, meter technicians and garage attendants). Responsible for interacting with the public, administrators and officials to explain parking operations policy and procedures.
     
    Skills: Analytical and problem solving skills (basic management skills). Researching, documenting processes, performance and outcomes skills. Listening and interpersonal skills. Skill in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database, email and other related software.
     
    Abilities: Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with other professionals, elected officials, contractors, consultants and the general public. Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize workload. Ability to diplomatically defuse adversarial situations. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
     
    Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of management experience, in any field. Bachelor degree desired.
     
    Requirements: Must satisfy employer paid physical, drug screen and criminal background check.  Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License in good standing. NJ residency required by State Statute.R.S.52:14-7.
