Working From Home (WFH) is here to stay.  Now is the time to consider your space.
New Jersey LGBT Chamber member and residential architect, Bob Barnett, teams up with colleagues, office designer Lisa Kincaid and residential designer Nureed Saeed, on how to create ideal spaces for WFH and virtual learning.
With the initial quarantine, make-shift spaces were put together.  Now, the need to establish more permanent spaces is paramount.  With specific tips tailored to WFH business owners, employees, students, teachers and parents, this design trio will discuss space planning & room location, audio-visual and telecommunications, ergonomics, office furnishing, virtual learning spaces and more…
Located in historic downtown South Orange, CBH Architects was founded in 2009 as Barnett Design Build, a home improvement construction company. In 2011, the firm began offering architectural services. By 2013, as their design projects increased and they hung up their tool belts to focus exclusively on residential architecture. With the addition of Sean Hilgeman and the promotion of Mike Cuttitta, they became CBH Architects in 2016.

Bob Barnett attended Rhodes College and Washington University School of Architecture. After flipping houses in New Jersey, (featured in HOME Magazine and HGTV) he left the corporate world and started working as a home improvement contractor. In 2011, he became a licensed architect and formed CBH Architects.

Lisa Kincaid’s architecture journey started as a secretary at the headquarters of the iconic firm, HOK, in St Louis, where she quickly moved to drafting. She then pursed architecture degrees (BS then Masters) at Washington University before returned to HOK.  She then launched her own firm, winning awards from AIA-St Louis, Landmarks Association, and Soulard Historical Society, before joining GastingerWalker& as Director of Interiors in 2003, becoming a Partner in 2005.

Nureed Saeed is owner of Nu Interiors, a full service interior design and remodeling project management firm, specializing in kitchen and bathroom renovations. After only 4 years in business, Nu Interiors was named one of Lux Pad’s top15 Interior Designers in New Jersey.  Nu Interiors was a featured designer in the first Resource at Home design show, and is regular contributor to Resource at Home’s YouTube channel.
