Founding Member: Tamara A. Fleming, Co-President
Tamara Fleming is a creative powerhouse and co-founder of FEMWORKS, an award-winning national marketing communications firm that specializes in helping business to engage consumers in multicultural markets. Fleming's industry experience, keen creative eye, attention to detail and ability to share and enhance her client’s vision, and public relations and marketing priorities, is the foundation that encouraged her to co- found FEMWORKS. Fleming has a relentless work ethic that delivers a fresh and innovative approach to her client's projects.
Tamara Fleming is also an accomplished photographer. She has a driving passion to create images that positively represent African-Americans, Latinos, urban, and lesbian and gay communities. She is a highly valued supplier of thousands of quality stock images that have graced the pages of national magazines like Essence Magazine and Pregnancy & Newborn and are used to enhance business and non-profit collateral. She began her creative and design career as a production manager at Eden LLC toy design firm, then became a photography editor at PRNewswire then manager of the PRN photography department. Under her leadership, the photography team served Fortune 500 companies, national and international interests and produced over 1,000,000 images for global media houses, trade publications, magazines and newspapers.

Laurie Seliger, Co-President
“I joined the Board of the NJ LGBT Chamber of Commerce because I wanted to be part of a dynamic organization that promotes the business interests and opportunities of LGBT entrepreneurs within our community and within our state. I’m excited to be part of this chamber
in its early stages and can’t wait to see it prosper!”
Laurie worked for over 25 years in scientific research in both academia and pharmaceutical settings. In addition to performing complex experiments, Laurie has extensive experience in laboratory set-up and management.
Laurie, with her business partner, Sherry Braun, recently launched Keylingo Translations of Princeton. With this new business venture, Laurie uses her management expertise to help companies everywhere do business anywhere. Her energies are focused on customer management and service.
Laurie has a M.S. degree in Biochemical Research from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Elmira College in Elmira, NY, where she has, in the past, volunteered much of her time to alumni and trustee activities. When she isn’t busy driving her middle-school aged children around to their diamond-sport tournaments, Laurie likes to sneak in a round of golf in the summer and plays ice hockey with her all-women’s hockey team in the winter.
